Changing packaging types or brand names
We will explain step by step how to make changes to your packaging types and/or brand names in the LUCID Packaging Register:
First, log in to the LUCID Packaging Register.
Go to the 'Details about the packaging' tile to edit or add details about your packaging types.
Heads-up: Depending on whether you are using packaging that is subject to system participation to distribute your goods, or packaging that is not, you have different obligations under packaging law to fulfil.You will then be automatically prompted to enter the brand names. Check whether you have to adjust the packaging category for existing brand names (packaging subject to system participation or not subject to system participation). Add new brand names, or remove brand names that are no longer valid.
Heads-up: If you only need to adjust your brand names, you can click directly on the 'Brand names' tile.

What you need to know
Use your login credentials to sign in to the LUCID Packaging Register. Then click the 'Edit' button in the 'Master data' tile. Depending on the information you want to change, click the edit icon on the right of the relevant section (e.g. producer data, contact details, VAT number/taxpayer reference number). Enter your changes. Scroll down to the 'Declarations' section and check the boxes, then click 'Send'.
First, you need to enter the new e-mail address and contact person as a recovery contact in your master data. If you would like to change the e-mail address but not the contact person, you can re-enter the previous login owner and then enter a new e-mail address. Save the updates. Then go back to your master data, click 'Transfer login' at the bottom of the page and select the new e-mail address. The recovery contact selected for the login transfer will receive an e-mail instructing them to set up a new password. They will then be the new login owner for the registration.
If you are ceasing your business activities and will no longer be distributing packaged goods (market exit), then you have to terminate your registration with the LUCID Packaging Register. This is what you need to do:
Use your login credentials to sign in to the LUCID Packaging Register.
Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Master data' tile. Scroll all the way down.
Click the 'Terminate registration' button. Enter the termination date. Confirm your entries by clicking the green button 'Terminate registration'.
Your registration will end on the day that you have chosen, which can be up to 31 days in the future. Please note that you cannot select a past date for termination. On the day after your chosen date has passed, the ZSVR will send you an e-mail to confirm that your registration has been terminated.
Please note:
Once a registration is terminated, it cannot be reactivated.
Terminating your registration with the LUCID Packaging Register does not cancel your existing system participation agreement. If you have any questions about your system participation agreement, please contact your system operator.
It is essential that you receive the administrative act confirming your registration termination. To make sure it reaches you, please verify that the e-mail address on file in the LUCID Packaging Register is current and accessible.
After your registration has been terminated, you can continue to access the LUCID Packaging Register and use it to retrospectively submit data reports, if needed.
