No declaration of completeness filed for three years: Food producer must pay fine

 — press releases

A Dutch food producer that places considerable packaging volumes on the German market every year together with its goods repeatedly failed to file a declaration of completeness. The company has been fined several thousand euros for this breach of duty.

Even though the company's packaging volumes exceeded the statutory thresholds, it failed to file a declaration of completeness in three consecutive years. The ZSVR reported the suspected case to the responsible enforcement authority, which opened proceedings against the company. For more information you can read the current case report by the ZSVR.
